Demographic analysis of the Žďár nad Sázavou district

Abstract:

Tématem diplomové práce je analýza demografického vývoje okresu Žďár nad Sázavou v průběhu let 2011–2021. Literární rešerše je zaměřena na popis základních demografických pojmů a ukazatelů, popsána je i metodika, která je použita v praktické části práce. Na začátku praktické části je popsáno zkoumané území. Provedenou analýzou časových řad je sledován vývoj demografických ukazatelů, jako například vývoj počtu obyvatelstva, počet narozených, zemřelých, migrace, sňatečnost, dojížďka do zaměstnání či ekonomická aktivita obyvatel. Sledovány jsou i hrubé míry jednotlivých ukazatelů a vypočteny indexy a koeficienty, jako například index staří či koeficient maskulinity. V závěru praktické části jsou vybrané obce okresu na základě vybraných ukazatelů pomocí shlukové analýzy rozděleny do klastrů dle podobnosti.

Abstract:

The topic of the diploma thesis is the analysis of the demographic development of the Žďár nad Sázavou district during the years 2011-2021. The literature search is focused on the description of demographic concepts and indicators, and the methodology used in the practical part of the thesis is described. At the beginning of the practical part, the study area is described. The analysis monitors the development of demographic indicators such as population development, number of births, deaths, migration, marriage, commuting and economic activity. The crude rates of individual indicators are also monitored and indices and coefficients are calculated,such as the old age index or the masculinity coefficient. At the end of the practical part, a cluster analysis of selected indicators is performed for selected municipalities of the district, dividing the municipalities into clusters according to similarity.
