Use of virtual and augmented reality in people lives

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje tématu virtuální a rozšířené reality a tomu, jak zasahuje do dnešních životů lidí. Cílem práce je zjistit, jak moc v dnešní době lidé využívají těchto technologií a jak moc si toho jsou vědomi. Nejdříve je v teoretické části představena virtuální a rozšířená realita jako taková, tyto pojmy jsou pak dále zařazeny do základního rozdělení, kde jsou jednotlivé části popsány a vysvětleny. Dále jsou představeny jednotlivé formy, ve kterých se virtuální a rozšířené reality využívá a též jsou doplněny o názorné příklady. V praktické části práce jsou stanoveny tři základní hypotézy, které se poté snaží autor potvrdit nebo vyvrátit pomocí dotazníkového šetření. To se snaží naplnit hlavní cíl práce, kde se vyhodnocují odpovědi od respondentů a dělají se z nich závěry o tom, jak moc virtuální a rozšířená realita zasahuje do jejich životů.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis devotes to the topic of virtual and augmented reality and on how it affects people's lives. The purpose of this work is to find out how much people use these technologies and how much they are aware of it. In the theoretical part the reader is first presented with what virtual and augmented reality is, then about its main parts, where each individual part is explained and described. Furthermore, the individual forms in which virtual and augmented reality is used are introduced and are also supplemented with examples. In the practical part of the thesis, three basic hypotheses are established, which the author then tries to confirm or refute using a questionnaire survey. This tries to fulfil the main goal of the thesis, where answers from respondents are evaluated and conclusions are made on how much virtual and augmented reality interferes in their lives.
