Masožravé rostliny jsou obdarovány schopností chytat hmyz a drobné obratlovce. Jsou tedy pozoruhodnými rostlinami této planety a předmětem zkoumání mnoha botaniků a badatelů. Předmětem této práce je představení základní charakteristiky a požadavků pro pěstování masožravých rostlin. Carnivorous plants are endowed by the ability to catch insects and small vertebrates. Therefore they are noticeable plants of this planet and they are subject of examination for many botanists and researchers.
