The process of self-directed learning in pregnant women

Abstract:

Tato magisterská diplomová práce pojednává o procesu sebeřízeného učení u těhotných žen. Cílem práce je zjistit, jak probíhá sebeřízené učení těhotných žen v oblasti těhotenství a péče o dítě. Magisterská diplomová práce má teoreticko-empirický charakter. Teoretická část je rozdělena do dvou kapitol a je založena na představení klíčových konceptů. První kapitola se věnuje sebeřízenému učení a druhá kapitola těhotenství jako příležitosti k učení. Empirická část práce obsahuje metodologii a výsledky výzkumného šetření, které bylo realizováno prostřednictvím jedenácti polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. V rámci výzkumného šetření docházím k zajímavým výsledkům. Jedním z nich jsou podmínky, bez kterých by sebeřízené učení u těhotných žen nemohlo nastat. Mezi další zjištění patří představení zdrojů a strategií, které těhotné ženy využívají v procesu jejich učení. Posledním zjištěním jsou výsledky reflexí procesu sebeřízeného učení.

Abstract:

This master's thesis discusses the process of self-directed learning in pregnant women. The aim of the thesis is to find out how the self-directed learning takes place in pregnant women in the field of pregnancy and childcare. The master's thesis has a theoretical-empirical character. The theoretical part is divided into two chapters and is based on the introduction of key concepts. The first chapter is focused on self-directed learning and the second chapter on pregnancy as an opportunity for learning. The empirical part of the thesis contains the methodology and the results of the research investigation, which was carried out through eleven semi-structured interviews. In the course of my research, I have come to some interesting results. One of them is the conditions without which self-directed learning in pregnant wom-en could not occur. Other findings include the introduction of resources and strate-gies that pregnant women use in their learning process. The last finding is the re-sults of reflections on the process of self-directed learning.
