Women in Masculine Sport - in Football

Abstract:

Tato práce se týká ženského fotbalu a jeho spojením s konstrukcí genderu. V současnosti zažívá ženský fotbal rozvoj a je na svém dosavadním vrcholu. S ohledem na tento vývoj a rozšiřující se základnu fotbalistek lze pozorovat určité specifické formy jednání těchto hráček a další různé sociologické fenomény. Hlavní problematika se bude zabývat tím, zda a jak je ovlivňována konstrukce genderu hráček fotbalu v kontextu České republiky. Tomuto tématu se věnuji proto, že se v prostředí ženského fotbalu pohybuji. Ve výzkumu je použita kvalitativní metoda sběru dat, přesněji řečeno hloubkové polo strukturované rozhovory.

Abstract:

This work relates to women's football and its connection with the construction of gender. Currently experiencing women's soccer development and is at its peak. In view of these developments and the expanding base of soccer players we can observe some specific forms of behavior of players and other various sociological phenomena. The main issue will examine whether and how is influenced the construction of gender of women players in context of football in the Czech Republic. I deal with this topic because I play women's football and move in the football environment. In the research is used a qualitative method of data collection, specifically in-depth semi structured interviews.
