The Effect of the Slope Inclination on the Basic density of the Sessile Oak

Abstract:

Cílem této práce bylo analyzovat konvenční hustotu dřeva dubu zimního (Quercus petraea (Matt.) Liebl.) u skupin stromů na zkoumaných plochách s různým sklonem svahu a zjistit průměrné šířky letokruhů na jednotlivých plochách. Zkoumaná porostní skupina se nachází v HS 225 v průměrné nadmořské výšce 375 m n. m a leží v Brněnském bioregionu. Porostní skupina byla rozdělena na tři plochy s různým sklonem svahu. Na každé ploše byly Presslerovým nebozezem odebrány vzorky z 15 stromů. Celkem bylo vybráno 45 stromů a z každého jedince odebrány tři vzorky. Podle metodiky Olesena byl změřen maximální objem a ten použit při výpočtu konvenční hustoty. Za účelem zjištění, zda jednotlivé vzorníkové stromy mají shodné přírůsty, byla změřena šířka letokruhů. U vzorníkových stromů dubu zimního (Quercus petraea (Matt.) Liebl.) byla zjištěna minimální konvenční hustota 529 kg•m-3, maximální konvenční hustota 684 kg•m-3 a průměrná konvenční hustota 572,24 kg•m-3. Sklon svahu nemá vliv na konvenční hustotu dřeva dubu zimního (Quercus petraea (Matt.) Liebl.).

Abstract:

The aim of this work was to analyze the basic density of sessile oak wood (Quercus petraea (Matt.) Liebl.) for groups of trees on investigated areas with varying slope inclination and to find out the average widths of annular rings on each area. The studied forest stand is located in the management set of stands 225 at an average altitude of 375 MASL and it is situated in the Brno bioregion. The stand was divided into three areas with different slope inclinations. On each area, samples of 15 trees were taken by the Pressler auger. A total of 45 trees were selected and three samples were taken from an each individual. According to the Olesen methodology, the maximum volume was measured and used for the calculation of the basic density. To determine whether each sample tree has the same increment, the ring width was measured. It was found that the samples of the sessile oak (Quercus petraea (Matt.) Liebl.) had a minimum basic density of 529 kg•m-3, the maximum basic density of 684 kg•m-3and the average basic density of 572.24 kg•m-3. The slope inclination does not affect the basic density of sessile oak wood (Quercus petraea (Matt.) Liebl.).
