Abstract:

Diplomová práce přibližuje problematiku antropologie, tj. somatometrie, na lidském těle. Aplikuje základní antropometrické metody při měření, sběru dat a obsahuje i charakteristiku použitých měřidel. Nahlíží na naměřený soubor z matematického pohledu, udává základní statistické charakteristiky v transverzálním antropologickém výzkumu na vysokoškolské populaci. Dále se práce pokusila prezentovat získaná data v biologicko antropologickém pojetí a srovnat získané údaje s referenčním souborem (Bláha, 1987). Ověřené modely výpočtu podílu jednotlivých tělesných kompartmentů podle Matiegky a Drinkwatera a Rosse nabízí v ucelenémm přehledu tabulek a grafů. Dále jsou v práci zahrnuty výpočty indexů podchycujících tělesnou stavbu vybraného profilu vysokoškolské populace. Nedílnou součástí je také dotazníkový průzkum, který vhodně doplňuje experimentální oddíl práce.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of anthropology of the human body, i.e. somatometry. It applies anthropometric methods for measuring and data collection, and includes characteristics of the used instruments. The work explores the measured file from a mathematical point of view, giving basic statistical characteristics in a transverse anthropological research at the university population. Further, the thesis tries to present collected data in a bio-anthropological concept and compare the data with the reference file (Blaha, 1987). It also presents validated models of calculation for the proportion of each body compartments in accordance with Matiegka, Drinkwater and Ross in the form of a comprehensive tables and graphs overview. Moreover, the work includes the calculation of indices which focuses on physique of the selected profile of college population. An integral part of the diploma thesis is a questionnaire survey, which complements the experimental section of this work.
