Waste Management Issues of Hospital Kadan s.r.o.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se věnuje odpadovému hospodářství Nemocnice Kadaň. Cílem této práce je charakterizovat problematiku odpadové hospodářství Nemocnice Kadaň s. r. o. a navrhnout doporučení na jeho zlepšení. Práce se člení na dva stěžejní bloky, a to na teoretickou a praktickou část. Tyto dvě části jsou dále rozčleněny do čtyř kapitol a několika podkapitol. První teoretická kapitola obecně analyzuje odpadové hospodářství a jeho současné priority a výzvy a druhá teoretická kapitola se věnuje už konkrétněji odpadovému hospodářství zdravotnických zařízení. Třetí je kapitola praktická a navazuje na část teoretickou, představuje sledované zdravotnické zařízení a jeho systém nakládání s odpady. Poslední čtvrtá praktická kapitola se zaměřuje na shrnutí dané problematiky a obsahuje závěrečná doporučení na základě zjištěných skutečností a návrh na zefektivnění nakládání s odpady. Teoretická část byla vypracována metodou analýzy dokumentů a literatury v tištěné a elektronické formě. Data a informace k praktické části práce byly získány pomocí analýzy dat produkce odpadů sledovaným zdravotnickým zařízením, dále bylo využito také pozorování a komparace zjištěných informací.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is about the waste management of the Kadaň Hospital. The aim of this work is to characterize the issue of waste management at Nemocnice Kadaň s.r.o. and propose recommendations for its improvement. The work is divided into two main blocks, namely the theoretical and practical part. These two parts are divided into four chapters and several subsections. The first theoretical chapter generally analyzes waste management and its current priorities and challenges, and the second theoretical chapter deals more specifically with the waste management of healthcare facilities. The third chapter is practical and follows on from the theoretical part, presenting the monitored medical facility and its waste management system. The last, fourth, practical chapter is dedicated to summarizing the given issue and contains final recommendations based on the facts found and a proposal for more efficient waste management. The theoretical part was developed using the method of document and literature analysis in printed and electronic form. Data and information for the practical part of the work were obtained using the analysis of waste production data by the monitored medical facility, and observation and comparison of the obtained information was also used.
