Physiotherapy in eqinovarus congenita

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je přispět k řešení problematiky volby vhodných fyzioterapeutických metod, postupů, konceptů a vypracování kazuistiky u pacientky s PEC v průběhu deseti terapií. Cílem bylo seznámení s komplexní fyzioterapií, s teoretickými a praktickými poznatky týkajícími se této problematiky. Metodika: Zpracovala jsem kazuistiku ženy (34 let) s Dg. Pes eqinovarus congentius. Po vstupním kineziologickém vyšetření jsem sestavila krátkodobý fyzioterapeutický plán. Fyzioterapie probíhala v období 2 měsíců ve formě deseti návštěv. Využívala jsem hydroterapii, PNF (proprioceptivní neuromuskulární facilitace), cvičení s Thera-Bandem, prvky senzomotoriky, prvky z Propriofoot konceptu a kineziotaping. Po polovině fyzioterapeutické intervence, tedy na začátku třetího týdne, bylo provedeno kontrolní vyšetření rozsahu pohybu a vyšetření měkkých tkání, na konci terapie jsem provedla výstupní kineziologický rozbor, na jehož základě byl stanoven dlouhodobý fyzioterapeutický plán včetně režimových opatření. Výsledky: zlepšení pasivní a aktivní hybnosti, zvýšení svalové síly, ovlivnění svalových dysbalancí, odstranění blokád a protažení zkrácených struktur. Závěr: po deseti terapiích došlo k největšímu zlepšení v oblasti chodidla, konkrétně k uvolnění plantární aponeurózy, zvětšení rozsahu v MP a IP kloubech prstů nohy a ke zvětšení svalové síly lýtka.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to contribute to the solution of the issue of the choice of suitable physiotherapeutic methods, procedures, concepts and the preparation of case reports in a patient with PEC over the course of ten therapies. The aim of my work is to improve an amount of knowledge from physiotherapy of a patient with diagnosis Pes equinovarus congentius. Methodology: I made the case report of a woman (34 years old) with Dg. Pes eqinovarus congentius. After the initial kinesiological examination, I prepared a short-term physiotherapy plan. Physiotherapy took place over a period of 2 months in the form of ten visits. I used hydrotherapy, PNF (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation) and exercises with Thera-Band. I also incorporated some elements of sensorimotor skills, the Propriofoot concept and kinesiotaping. After first half of physiotherapeutical intervention, i.e. at the beginning of the third week, the control examination of the range of motion and an examination of soft tissues was made. At the end of the therapy I made a final kinesiological analysis, that served like the basis of a long-term physiotherapy plan with regimen measures. Results: Improvement of passive and active ability to move, increase od muscle strength, change of muscle imbalances, removal of blockages and stretching of shortened structures. Conclusion: After ten therapeutic sessions the greatest improvement was made in the foot area; release of plantar aponeurosis, an increase in the extent of MCP and IP joints of the toes and increase of the strength of calf muscle.
