Creative industries in spatial perspective in the city of Olomouc

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje kreativním odvětvím a jejich prostorové organizaci v rámci města Olomouce. Cílem je zhodnotit lokalizaci vybraných odvětví v jednotlivých městských částech a faktory, které ji ovlivňují. První část práce je věnována přístupům ke kreativním odvětvím, jejich definici a vymezení. Druhá část práce se zabývá prostorovou organizací kreativních odvětví. Ve třetí části je dle dostupných zdrojů informací uveden popis Olomouce včetně administrativního členění a dále popsán urbanistický a socioekonomický vývoj města. Ve čtvrté části je vytyčen seznam kreativních firem dle klasifikace CZ NACE, které se v Olomouci nachází. Získaná data slouží k výběru městských částí, kde se koncentrace těchto firem ukázala jako nejvyšší. V závěru práce je přidáno přesnější hodnocení příčin vzniku firem právě v těchto lokalitách.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the creative industries and their spatial organization within the city of Olomouc. The objective is to evaluate the localization of selected industries in various parts of the city and the factors affecting it. The first part is devoted to approaches to the creative industries, their definition and delimitation. The second part deals with the spatial organization of creative industries. In the third part, according to available sources of information, including a description of Olomouc administrative division and further described urban and socio-economic development of the city. The fourth part is staked list of creative companies by CZ NACE, which is located in Olomouc. The data used to select districts, where the concentration of these companies proved to be the highest. In conclusion, the paper added a more accurate assessment of the causes of firms in these locations.
