Inquiry-Based Education in the Fourth Year of Elementary School

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá realizací koncepce badatelsky orientovaného vzdělávání ve 4. ročníku ZŠ v přírodovědných předmětech. Teoretická část práce si klade za cíl sumarizovat poznatky o této koncepci a představit možné pedagogické strategie v rámci konstruktivistického přístupu ve výuce. Empirická část práce má kvalitativní charakter. Výzkum byl realizován s využitím metod obsahové analýzy tematických plánů vybraných základních škol a pozorování vyučovacích hodin přírodovědných předmětů. Výzkumná zjištění jsou v práci interpretována a diskutována.

Abstract:

This thesis is engaged in realization of Inquiry Based Science Education in the 4th grade of elementary school. The target of this thesis is summarizing of theoretical "starting points" of Inquiry Based Science Education and clarify application of this concept in the 4th grade of elementary school. The empirical part of this thesis has a qualitative character. The research was realized based on uses content analysis method of thematic plans of chosen elementary schools and by observation within the lessons of science subjects. The research findings are interpreted and discussed in this thesis.
