Abstract:
Leslieho maticový model se používá v ekologii k modelování vývoje populace. Z matice lze snadno vyčíst koeficienty plodností a pravděpodobností přežití jednotlivých generací populace a některé další vlastnosti modelu. Leslie matrix model is used in ecology to model the population changes. From the matrix we can easily see the age-specified fecundity and survival rates of the population and some other features of the model. Also the positive real dominant eigenvalue of the matrix helps us to predict the future development of the population.
