The analysis of structure of banks sector in Czech Republic and its comparison with structure of banks of representative EU countries

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou a srovnáním bankovních systémů zemí Evropské unie, zejména pak srovnáním irského a českého bankovního systému. Vymezuje základní prvky bankovního systému obecně a následně porovnává dílčí části bankovních systémů zemí Evropské unie. Hlavními zkoumanými jevy jsou: velikost daných bankovních systémů, jejich složení a podíl na trhu, bankovní infrastruktura, regulace bankovního sektoru a pravidla vymezující činnost bank, centrální banky vybraných zemí Evropské unie a Evropská centrální banka.

Abstract:

This Graduation Thesis ocupied with analysis and comparison of banking systém of EU countries, however mainly with comparison of irish and czech banking systém. It commonly defines basic elements of banking systém and than it compares partial part of banking systém of EU countries. Main examinated phenomenons are: size of banking system, its structure and marketś share, banking infrastructure, regulation of banking sector and rules which define activities of banks,central bank of selected EU countries and Europian Central Bank.
