Slang as phenomenon in modern linguistics.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is dedicated to the research of structure of modern Russian slang, of the history of its development in Russia, and the place it holds in the lexicon of russian-speaking individual. Here are analysed such terms, as slang and jargon. The major part of thesis ruminates the slang units: their word-formation, how frequently are they used in various communication spheres, and what role does the slang lexicon play in everyday communication amongst Russian people. The special attention is given to the slang-using fields and to characteristics of the particular substandard units. Also the thesis is dealing with the issue of necessity and appropriateness of slang units in modern language.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje výzkumu struktury moderního ruského slangu, historii jeho rozvoje v Rusku, a také tomu, jaké místo zaujímá v lexikonu rusky mluvícího jedince. Rozebírají se takové pojmy, jako slang a žargon. Podstatnou část této práce tvoří analýza slangových jednotek: jak se tvoří, jak často se využívají v různých komunikačních oblastech, a jakou roli slangový lexikon hraje v každodenní komunikaci v prostředí ruskojazyčného obyvatelstva. Zvláštní pozornost se věnuje sférám využití slangu a charakteristice jednotlivých substandardních jednotek. Je také zkoumána otázka, zda jsou slangové jednotky v moderním jazyce potřebné a vhodné.
