Evaluation of economic efficiency of investments

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce „Hodnocení ekonomické efektivnosti investice“ je zhodnocení ekonomické efektivnosti investice firmy Automotive Service Parts s.r.o. do rozšíření vozového parku o tři vozy Volkswagen Caddy skříňový vůz a udělat celkové zhodnocení a doporučení ohledně této investice. Za dílčí cíle práce jsem si předsevzal stanovení nákladů na investici predikcí příjmů, následné rozdělení na optimistickou, realistickou a pesimistickou variantu. Dalším dílčím cílem je analýza prostředí firmy a poté zhodnocení pomocí statických a dynamických metod hodnocení investic pro každou variantu. Na základě těchto dílčích cílů bude poté moci být splněn cíl hlavní. Teoretická část obsahuje definování základních pojmů investiční činnosti, možnosti financování investic, popis analýzy prostředí a nástroje používané při této analýze a důležité metody pro hodnocení investic za pomoci literární rešerše. Praktická část je poté zaměřena na seznámení se s touto investicí, predikcí nákladů a příjmů plynoucích z investice, analýzu prostředí firmy Automotive Service Parts s.r.o a nakonec na použití vybraných metod hodnocení investic a závěrečné zhodnocení investice za pomoci komparace a analýzy.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor's thesis called "Evaluation of economic efficiency of the investment" is to evaluate the economic efficiency of the investment of Automotive Service Parts Ltd. into enlarging of the vehicle fleet by three Volkswagen Caddy vans and make a summary assessment and recommendation regarding this investment. The intermediate objectives were to determine the costs of the investment, expected incomings and subsequently divided into an optimistic, realistic and pessimistic alternative. Another intermediate objective was an analysis of the company's environment and assessment using statistical and dynamical methods of investment evaluation for each alternative. The main goal could be fulfilled based on these intermediate objectives. The theoretical part contains definitions of basic terms such as investing activities, possibilities of financing, the description of environment analysis and used tools, important methods for investment evaluation using literary research. The practical part is focused on introducing new investment, expected expenses and incomings from the investment, analysis of the environment of Automotive Service Parts Ltd. and in the end using of selected methods of investment evaluation and final summary of investment using comparison and analysis.
