Abstract:

Úvod: Péče je interpersonální proces, který se vyznačuje profesionálním ošetřováním, interpersonální citlivostí a úzkým vztahem mezi sestrou (poskytovatelem péče) a pacientem - příjemcem péče. Cíl studie: Cílem práce bylo zjistit vnímání pečovatelského chování u chirurgických sester, u jejich pacientů a vztahy mezi jejich vnímáním. Metodika: Výzkumný soubor kvantitativní deskriptivní studie tvořilo 133 sester (průměrný věk 37,5 let) pracujících v nemocnic Kraje Vysočina a 543 pacientů (průměrný věk 52,1 let), o které sestry pečovaly. Statistické analýzy byly realizovány pomocí statistického software SPSS v. 21 (Studentův t-test, ANOVA, hladina významnosti ? = 0,05). Hlavní výsledky: Za nejdůležitější považovali pacienti i sestry aktivity spadající do dimenze Znalosti a dovednosti. Mezi činnosti, které sestry hodnotily nejnižším skóre, patřilo trávení času s pacientem, pomáhání pacientovi v jeho rozvoji, docházení za pacientem na pokoj ze své vůle. Pacienti spatřují rezervy u sester především v trávení času, který jim sestry věnují, v pomáhání při jejich rozvoji a v docházení za nimi na pokoj bez vyzvání. Pečovatelské chování sester nejvíce oceňují pacienti hospitalizovaní v nemocnici Pelhřimov, na dalších místech v sestupném pořadí pacienti z nemocnic v Novém Městě na Moravě, v Havlíčkově Brodě, Třebíči a v Jihlavě. Závěry: Sestry hodnotily své pečovatelské chování výrazně kladněji než jejich pacienti. Lépe hodnotili pečovatelské chování respondenti, kteří byli hospitalizováni poprvé. Hodnocení pacientů bylo ovlivněno jejich věkem, vzděláním, operací, zkušeností s hospitalizací a nemocnicí, ve které pobývali. Sebehodnocení sester neovlivňuje jejich vzdělání, délka klinické praxe ani věk. Hodnocení pečovatelského chování sester je v České republice novým jevem a může být signifikantním indikátorem pro hodnocení ošetřovatelské péče.

Abstract:

Introduction: Caring is an interpersonal process that is characterised by professional nursing, interpersonal sensitivity and a close relationship between the nurse (care provider) and the patient (care receiver). The aim of this study: The aim of this quantitative descriptive study was to identify perceptions of caring behaviour by surgery nurses and their patients, to discover relationships between their perceptions. Methodology: The set research consisted of 133 nurses (mean age 37.5 years) working in all hospitals in the Vysočina Region, and 543 patients (mean age 52.1 years) looked after by the nurses. Software SPSS v. 21 was used for statistical analysis (Student t-test, ANOVA, significance ? = 0,05). Main Results: The most important thing the nurses and patients considered were the activities that fell under the topic, Knowledge and Skills. Among these activities, which were evaluated by the lowest score by nurses, belonged to the time spent with patients, helping them with their development and visiting their room without being asked. Patients saw deficiencies in nurses mostly in time spent with themselves, in helping them with their development and visiting their rooms willingly without being asked. The patiens evaluate caring in nursing of nurses the best in Pelhřimov, then in descending order in the hospitals in Nové Město na Moravě, Havlíčkův Brod, Třebíč and in Jihlava. Conclusions: Nurses evaluated their caring behaviour with an exceptionally higher score than that of their patients. Respondents who stayed in hospital for the first time assessed caring behaviour better. Patients´ evaluation was influenced by their age, education, surgical operation, experience with hospitalisation and the hospital in which they were hospitalised. The self-evalutaion of nurses is not influenced by their education, working experience, neither their age. The evaluation of caring behaviour of nurses that is quite a new phenomenon in the Czech Republic and can be a significant indicator of the evaluation of quality of nursing.
