Abstract:
The diploma thesis is devoted to Allen Ginsberg's works in Czech translations. The theoretical part introduces the poets and his works, provides a chronological overview of his poems published in Czech and gives information on the translators as well. The practical part features an analysis of the Czech translations and evaluates the level of preservation of both content and form.

Diplomová práce se zabývá díly básníka Allena Ginsberga v českých překladech. Teoretická část přibližuje Ginsberga jako osobnost, jeho tvorbu a přináší chronologický přehled vydaných překladů jeho básní. Představuje také jednotlivé překladatele, kteří se o propagaci básníka v českém kontextu zasloužili.
