Crisis management in the railway transport

Abstract:

Tématem této diplomové práce je krizové řízení v železniční dopravě. Práce má za cíl analyzovat základní principy, postupy a další aspekty krizového řízení či bezpečnostního managementu v této oblasti. Rovněž se zabývá rozborem současné metodiky a činností všech zúčastněných složek při vzniku mimořádných událostí na železnici s motivací identifikovat silné i slabé stránky celého systému a navrhnout případné příležitosti ke zlepšení či zefektivnění jednotlivých procesů. Důležitým předmětem této práce je také oblast prevence vzniku mimořádných událostí, jež úzce souvisí s kvalitním šetřením příčin jejich vzniku a řízením systému bezpečnosti celkově. Neméně důležitou věcí, kterou se tato práce zabývá, je však i příprava na mimořádné události v podobě krizového či havarijního plánování.

Abstract:

The topic of this master thesis is crisis management in railway transport. The thesis aims to analyze the basic principles, procedures and other aspects of crisis management or safety management in this area. It also deals with the analysis of the current methodology and the activities of all involved parts and subjects in the event of emergency accidents or incidents on the railway with the motivation to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the entire system and to suggest possible opportunities to improve or streamline individual processes. An important subject of this work is also the prevention of the occurrence of extraordinary events, which is closely related to the quality investigation of the causes of their occurrence and the overall management of the safety system. However, an equally important thing that this thesis deals with is the preparation for extraordinary events in the form of crisis or emergency planning.
