The use of interactive applications in teaching informatics at primary school

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je provést rešerši v oblasti interaktivních aplikací využívaných na základní škole, vytvořit webové stránky s popisem jednotlivých vybraných aplikací a vytvořit k těmto aplikacím návody s konkrétními příklady jejich použití ve výuce informatiky, následně konzultovat obsah webových stránek s několika učiteli informatiky z praxe a upravit webové stránky podle získané zpětné vazby. Úvodní kapitola práce se zaměřuje na charakteristiku vzdělávací oblasti informatiky na základní škole. Následující kapitola se věnuje různým výukovým metodám, které využívají interaktivní aplikace. Popisuje výhody spojené s implementací těchto aplikací ve výuce informatiky a jejich využití při prezenční, distanční a individuální výuce. Dále je představeno několik konkrétních interaktivních aplikací, které jsou využívaný ve výuce informatiky. Je zde popsána tvorba webového rozcestníku, která popisuje proces tvorby rozcestníku, jeho cíle a přínosy pro učitele a žáky. Na základě zpětné vazby od učitelů informatiky na základní škole na vytvořený web, proběhla úprava webu, která vycházela z jejich návrhů na vylepšení. Tato práce tak poskytuje komplexní pohled na současný stav využití interaktivních aplikací ve výuce informatiky na základní škole.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to conduct a research in the field of interactive applications used in primary school, to create a website with a description of the selected applications and to create tutorials for these applications with specific examples of their use in teaching informatics, then to consult the content of the website with several IT teachers from practice and to modify the website according to the feedback received. The introductory chapter of the thesis focuses on the characteristics of the educational area of computer science in primary school. The following chapter focuses on different teaching methods that use interactive applications. It describes the benefits associated with the implementation of these applications in computer science education and their use in face-to-face, distance and individual learning. It also presents several specific interactive applications that are used in computer science education. The creation of a web signposting tool is described, describing the process of creating a signposting tool, its goals and its benefits for teachers and students. Based on feedback from primary school computer science teachers on the developed website, modifications were made to the website based on their suggestions for improvements. This paper thus provides a comprehensive view of the current state of the use of interactive applications in primary school computer science education.
