The Economic and Social Barriers of Implementation of the Young Athletes in Organized Sports Process of Football Clubs

Abstract:

Disertační práce se zabývá problematikou sportování dětí a mládeže a je zaměřená na ekonomicko-sociální bariéry vstupu do organizovaného sportovního procesu ve fotbalových klubech napříč Jihomoravským krajem. Teoretická část se věnuje volnému času a sportu, školní tělesné výchově a funkci školy, dále pak významem rodiny a jejím vlivem na výchovu a také přínosem marketingové komunikace. Závěr teorie patří fotbalu samotnému. V kapitole Výsledky jsou prezentovány jak výsledky z výzkumu kvalitativního, tak z výzkumu kvantitativního, které posloužily ke splnění cílů práce a zodpovězení dvou výzkumných otázek a tří hypotéz. V rámci kvalitativního výzkumu bylo provedeno osmnáct rozhovorů s fotbalovými funkcionáři a trenéry. Rozhovory sloužily jako podklad pro vypracování dotazníku, jenž byl distribuován v rámci Jihomoravského kraje. Bylo prokázáno, že mezi bariéry realizace mladých sportovců do organizovaného sportovního procesu ve fotbalových klubech patří konkurence jiných sportů, nesportující rodiče, nezájem rodičů a dětí o fotbal, finanční zátěž rodinného rozpočtu. Zároveň byly navrženy aktivity pro fotbalové kluby a svazy.

Abstract:

The dissertation thesis deals with the issue of sports for children and youth and it is focused on economic and social barriers of entering into the organized sports process in football clubs across the South Moravian Region. The theoretical part deals with leisure and sports, school physical education and the function of the school, as well as the importance of family and its influence on education and the benefits of marketing communication. The final section of the theoretical part is dedicated to football itself. Chapter Results presents the results of both qualitative and quantitative research, which served to meet the objectives of the work and to answer two research questions and three hypotheses. As part of the qualitative research, eighteen interviews with football officials and coaches were conducted. The interviews served as a foundation for elaboration of a questionnaire, which was distributed within the South Moravian Region. It has been proven that barriers to the implementation of young athletes in the organized sports process in football clubs include competition from other sports, non-sports parents, lack of interest of both parents and children in football and also the financial burden of family budget. Furthermore, the thesis proposes activities for football clubs and associations.
