Employment of secondary school graduates with disabilities in the labor market

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je zjistit uplatitelnost jedinců se zdravotním postižením po absolvování vybrané střední školy na trhu práce. Diplomová práce je rozdělena do čtyř kapitol. První kapitola charakterizuje žáky se zdravotním postižením. Podrobně se věnuje žákům s tělesným, mentálním postižením a žákům se specifickými poruchami učení. Druhá kapitola je zaměřena na volbu profese a profesní přípravu osob se zdravotním postižením. Poskytuje nám informace o volbě povolání a profesní orientaci. Dále nás upozorňuje na faktory, které ovlivňují volbu povolání. A v neposlední řadě nás seznamuje s možnostmi a podmínkami vzdělávání žáků se zdravotním postižením ve středních školách. Třetí kapitola se zabývá problematikou zaměstnávání osob se zdravotním postižením na trhu práce. Charakterizuje pojem práce. Dozvíme se zde o možnostech pracovního uplatnění a o možnostech podpory těchto jedinců na trhu práce. A také o překážkách, které se mohou vyskytnout při vstupu jedince na trh práce. Poslední čtvrtá kapitola nám podává informace o metodách a technikách šetření a místě, kde šetření probíhalo. Dále o výsledcích šetření a samozřejmě závěrem.

Abstract:

The goal of the diploma thesis is to describe the opportunities for employment on the labour market of graduates with health disabilities from a selected secondary school. The thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter describes students with health problems, especially students with physical, mental disabilities and students with specific learning disabilities. The second chapter is focused on the choice of a career and professional preparation of the people with health problems. It provides information about the choice of a career and professional orientation. Further, it points out the factors that can influence the choice of a job. Last but not least, it draws attention to possibilities and conditions for the education of these students with health problems at special schools. The third chapter concentrates on the problem of employment of these people with health problems on the labour market. It defines the term work. We will learn about career possibilities and ways of support of these people on the labour market. Moreover, we will present obstacles which might appear when a person enters the labour market. The last, fourth chapter informs us about methods and techniques of the research and the place where the research was conducted. Further, it shows results of the research and the conclusion.
