Tématem práce je problematika reinkarnace (jinými slovy převtělení, opětovné vtělení, nové vtělení duše) tak, jak je reflektována v hinduismu a v buddhismu jako vybraných světových náboženstvích, a dále jak ji reflektovali vybraní evropští filozofové od antiky po současnost včetně Platóna, Pýthágora, Arthura Schopenhauera a Nikolaje Losského. Dissertation deals with reincarnation in hinduism, buddhism, european philosophy and scientific research. The first chapter is written on hinduism, it´s main characteristics and especially on karma philosophy in context of reincarnation.
