Corporate social responsibility in the European Union

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce bylo přiblížit téma společenské odpovědnosti a jejího zakotvení v rámci normativních právních aktů Evropské unie, konkrétně v rámci Směrnice o nefinančním reportingu 2014/95/EU. Poznatky jsou dále aplikovány na konkrétní firmu, Plzeňský Prazdroj a.s. V praktické části práce mapuje konkrétní nefinanční aktivity dané firmy a způsob jejich reportování. Dále práce hodnotí soulad daného reportování s obsahem směrnice a národní legislativy. Hlavními metodami použitými při vypracování byla literární rešerše, analýza a explanace.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor's thesis was to approach the topic of social responsibility and its enshrinement in the normative legal acts of the European Union, specifically in the Directive on non-financial reporting 2014/95 / EU. The findings are further applied to a specific company, Plzeňský Prazdroj a.s. The practical part of the work maps the specific non-financial activities of the company and the way of their reporting. Furthermore, the work evaluates the compliance of the reporting with the content of the directive and national legislation. The main methods used in the elaboration were literature search, analysis and explanation.
