Former Piaristic Church of St. John the Baptist in Kroměříž
Abstract:
Kostel sv. Jana Křtitele v Kroměříži byl postaven mezi léty 1737-1768 řádem piaristů, který přišel do města v roce 1687 a založil gymnázium, kolej a pěvecký seminář. Práce je dále zaměřena na vnitřní malířskou a sochařskou výzdobu, kterou interpretuje z hlediska ikonografie a ikonologie v rámci barokního celku
Abstract:
The church of St. John the Baptist in Kroměříž was built in 1737-1768 by the Piaristic Order. The order came to the town in 1687 a founded the secondary school, the college and the choir. This bachelor thesis is focused on inner paintings and sculptures that are interpreted from the iconographical and iconological point of view
