Abstract:

Disertační práce zjišťuje problematiku nadváhy a obezity u současných adolescentů – studentů středních a vysokých škol ve věku 15-20 let z oblasti východočeského kraje. Výzkumného šetření se zúčastnilo 1020 respondentů. Pro sběr dat bylo použito dotazníkové šetření doplněné o antropometrické měření všech zúčastněných respondentů. Antropometrické šetření ukázalo, že normální váhu má 79,1%, nadváhu 19,1% a podváhu necelých 9%. Analýza a interpretace získaných dat poskytuje informace o výživovém stavu, pitném režimu, pohybové aktivitě a návštěvě odborných lékařů u všech měřených adolescentů. Data byla vyhodnocována relativní četností a chítestem. Je zde uveden také vliv edukace adolescentů s BMI nad 90. percentil ve věkových skupinách 15-17 let a 18-20 let na vybrané antropometrické ukazatele. I když došlo k průměrnému snížení všech sledovaných antropometrických parametrů, tak statisticky významný rozdíl byl zjištěn pouze u snížení tělesné hmotnosti, kde na edukaci lépe reagovala skupina adolescentů ve věku 18-20 let (p = 0,0377). Tato část byla vyhodnocována nepárovým t-testem (typ 2, strana 2). Disertační práce také poukazuje na rezervy a možnosti zlepšení současného stále se zvyšujícího nárůstu obezity a nadváhy v dětské a adolescentní populaci.

Abstract:

This disertation work finds out overweight and obesity problems within the group of modern adolescents – secondary school and university students between the ages 15-20 from the East Bohemian region. 1020 respondents participated in this research. To gain data collection there was used an anonymous questionnaire with anthropometric measurement of all participated respondents. Anthropometric survey demonstrated that 79,1% of respondents has standard weight, 19,1% overweight and less than 9% underweight. The analysis and interpretation of the obtained data provides information about nutritional status, fluid intake, physical activity and specialists seeing of all measured adolescents. Data were analysed with relative percent occurrence and chítest. The influence of education of adolescents with BMI over 90th percentile in all age groups between the ages 15-17 and 18-20 on the selected anthropometric indicators is also mentioned there. Even if average reduction of all monitored anthropometric parameters took place, statistically significant difference was taken only in body weight reduction. The group of adolescents between the ages 18-20 (p = 0,0377) reacted against education in a better way. This part was evaluated with azygous t-test (type 2, page 2). This work also points potentialities how to improve the current constantly rasing growth of obesity and overweight within child and adolescent population.
