This master thesis is dealing with phenomenon of postmodern in a novel ?Medea: Voices? written by famous German author Christa Wolf. The theoretical part is dealing with the period of postmodern, German literature in 80´s and the crucial influence of myth and mythology. Tato diplomová práce se zabývá fenoménem postmoderny známé německé autorky Christy Wolf na příkladu z jejího konkrétního románu ?Medea: Stimmen?. Teoretická část této práce se zabývá epochou postmoderny, dále také literaturou 80. let a v neposlední řadě hraje velkou roli vliv mýtu a mytologie.
