Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na aplikaci teorie optimální měnové oblasti (A Theory of Optimum Currency Areas - OCA) na Evropskou měnovou unii (EMU). Detailně se věnuje vybraným státům patřícím do tzv. PIIGS, přesněji Řecku, Portugalsku a Irsku. První část práce pojednává nejen o průběhu měnové spolupráce v Evropě, ale i o teorii optimální měnové oblasti obecně, a se zaměřením na EMU. Druhá část …more
Abstract:
This thesis is focused on application of the Theory of Optimum Currency Areas (OCA) on the European Monetary Union (EMU). Detail is devoted to selected countries belonging to the so-called PIIGS, namely Greece, Portugal and Ireland.
