Manifestations and ways of managing separation anxiety in children in nursery schools

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na projevy a způsoby zvládání separační úzkosti v prostředí mateřských škol. Cílem práce je zjistit, jak se u dětí projevuje separační úzkost a jak s ní učitelky v mateřských školách pracují. Teoretická část shrnuje charakteristiky dětí předškolního věku, vymezuje pojmy strach, úzkost, a zvláště separační úzkost. Empirická část seznamuje s analýzou zkušeností pedagožek z mateřských škol, které se se separační úzkostí u dětí setkaly. Semistrukturované rozhovory se vedle samotné zkušenosti zaměřují i na způsoby práce učitelek, které mají přispět ke zvládání této formy úzkosti.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis focuses on the manifestations and ways of managing separation anxiety in the environment of nursery schools. The aim of the work is to find out how separation anxiety manifests itself in children and how teachers in nursery schools work with it. The theoretical part summarizes the characteristics of preschool children, defines the terms fear, anxiety and especially separation anxiety. The empirical part introduces the analysis of the experience of nursery schools teachers who have encountered separation anxiety in children. In addition to the experience itself, semi-structured interviews also focus on the ways in which teachers work to help manage this form of anxiety.
