Abstract:

V súčasnosti sa väčšina projektovo orientovaných spoločností snaží dosiahnuť maxima v oblasti projektového riadenia. Spoločnosti, ktoré by radi stav zrelosti v tejto oblasti dosiahli, majú jedinú možnosť a tou je kontinuálny proces zlepšovania. Základným pilierom preň je analýza a zhodnotenie stavu projektovej kultúry, pretože bez toho nie je možné určiť ani aktuálny stav v akom sa projektové riadenie spoločnosti nachádza, tobôž nie na akej úrovni by sa mohlo nachádzať v budúcnosti. Táto diplomová práca oboznamuje čitateľa s oblasťou projektov a projektového riadenia ako manažérskej disciplíny. V úvode autor vymedzuje dôležité termíny a definície tykajúce sa projektov a projektového riadenia. Nasledovne sú popí-sané popredné medzinárodné organizácie zaoberajúce sa projektovým riadením a nimi vydané štandardy týkajúce sa tejto oblasti. Okrem toho autor predstavuje dostupné modely zrelosti projektového riadenia, ktoré slúžia k zvýšeniu úrovne zrelosti projektového riadenia v organizáciách. Súčasťou tejto práce je aj návrh aplikovateľnej metodiky, ktorá predstavuje nástroj ako si projektovo riadené organi¬zácie môžu sami zhodnotiť stav úrovne kultúry projektového riadenia. V záverečnej časti autor popisuje aplikáciu navrhnutej metodiky spolu s zvyšovaním úrovne procesnej stránky projektového riadenia.

Abstract:

Nowadays, most project-oriented organizations desire the excellence in the field of Project Management. Organizations, which would like to reach this state, have just one way how to achieve it. It is a process of continual improvement. The fundamental prerequisite for this process is the analysis and assessment of Project Management culture because without it, it is neither possible to determine the current level of Project Management maturity nor the potential level for the future. This thesis makes readers acquainted with projects and Project Management as a management discipline. In the beginning, the author illustrates the all necessary terminology and definitions related to projects and Project Management. Afterwards, the author describes the current forefront Project Management organizations and their published standards for the Project Management field. In the following part are explained the fundamental principles of available Project Management maturity models, tools which make it possible to sum up the maturity level of Project Management. Part of this work is also the proposal of the applicable methodology which enables a project-driven organization to assess the level of Project Management maturity. The proposed assessment is competence-oriented, which means that has a difference approach on how to assess Project Management than the methodologies of the current maturity models. In the final part, the application of this assessment methodology with combination of the assessment Project Management process is described.
