The use of occupational therapy in special facilities

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá využitím ergoterapie a pracovní terapie ve speciálních zařízeních. V rámci teoretické části je popsána ergoterapie v sedmi kapitolách, které se zabývají základními informacemi a tvoří teoretický rámec této terapie. Výzkumná část je tvořena kvalitativním výzkumem prováděným ve dvou speciálních zařízeních, ze kterých jsou vybráni klienti navštěvující ergoterapii či pracovní terapii a je na ně zpracována kazuistika. Cílem výzkumné části bylo zjištění, zda je ergoterapie využívána, jakou formou a jaký má vliv na klienty. Úkolem práce je ukázat na konkrétních případech, že ergoterapie plní svoji funkci i v rámci speciálních zařízení a je zde velmi užitečná.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the use of ergotherapy and occupational therapy in special facilities. The occupational therapy is described in the theoretical part in seven chapters that with focus on basic information and form the theoretical framework of this therapy. The research consists of qualitative research carried out in two special facilities. The research is based on the case reports of chosen clients visiting occupational therapy or ergotherapy. The aim of the research is to determine the forms of the use of the occupational therapy and its impact on clients. The task is to demonstrate on specific cases that occupational therapy fulfills its function in the special facilities and is very useful.
