Phthalates and perfluorinated compounds and their potential health risks

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na biologická rizika ftalátů a perfluorovaných sloučenin. Charakterizuje vlastnosti těchto látek, jejich výrobu, využití, způsob kontaminace prostředí a možné zdravotní účinky s nimi spojené. Nejpoužívanějším ftalátem je di(2-ethylhexyl) ftalát, který je také nejčastěji sledován vzhledem k potenciálním zdravotním rizikům. Ze skupiny perfluorovaných sloučenin se do životního prostředí nejčastěji uvolňuje perfluorooktansulfonát a kyselina perfluorooktanová a je u nich nejčastěji sledována jejich potenciální toxicita.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on the biological risks of phthalates and perfluorinated compounds. Characterizes the properties of these substances, their manufacture, use, method of environmental contamination and potential health effects associated with them. The most commonly used phthalate is di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate, which is also often observed for potential health risks. From the group of perfluorinated compounds in the environment can often be released perfluorooctane sulfonate and perfluorooctanoic acid and is most often monitored by their potential toxicity.
