The influence of spirituality on the process of mourning in survivors

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce "Vliv spirituality na proces truchlení u pozůstalých osob" se zabývá zkušenostmi pozůstalých osob se spiritualitou při procesu truchlení. Cílem je zjistit, zda spiritualita ovlivňuje proces truchlení, jakým způsobem, a také zda po prožití ztráty blízkého člověka dochází k její ztrátě. Teoretická část práce vymezuje pojem spiritualita, proces truchlení a souvislost mezi těmito dvěma pojmy. Poslední kapitola se věnuje možným faktorům, které mohou ovlivňovat pozůstalé osoby při prožívání jejich zármutku. Po teoretické části následuje část výzkumná. Výzkumná část vychází z kvalitativního výzkumu a prezentuje výsledky polostrukturovaných rozhovorů, který byl realizován se šesti participanty. Polostrukturované rozhovory jsou analyzovány pomocí interpretační fenomenologické analýzy (IPA).

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis "The influence of spirituality on the process of mourning for the bereaved" focuses on the experiences of the bereaved with spirituality during the process of mourning. The aim of the bachelor´s thesis is to discover if spirituality affects the process of mourning, how does it affect the process and if there is a possibility of losing spirituality after experiencing the loss of a loved person. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the term spirituality, process of mourning and the connection between these two terms. The last chapter of the thesis explores potential factors which can affect the bereaved during mourning. The theoretical part is followed by the research part. The research part is based on qualitative research, and it presents the results of semi-structured interviews, which were done with six participants. Semi-structured interviews are analysed using interpretative phenomenological analysis (IPA).
