Preparation and organization of mathematics teaching in a mixed age class

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá přípravou a organizací výuky matematiky ve věkově smíšené třídě na prvním stupni základních škol. Teoretická část přibližuje specifika málotřídních škol, jejich výhody a nevýhody, organizaci výuky, hodnocení žáků. Výzkumná část je tvořena kvalitativním výzkumem. Vychází z pozorování a následného rozhovoru s učiteli, kteří ve věkově smíšených třídách vyučují. Zaměřujeme se na jejich oso-by, na to, jak se v roli učitele ve věkově smíšené třídě cítí, jejich názor na tyto třídy, výhody a nevýhody smíšených tříd, dále na popis realizace výuky, vyučovacích metod a příprav na výuku matematiky apod. Součástí práce budou konkrétní závěry a doporučení pro praxi.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the preparation and organization of mathematics tea-ching in a mixed-age class at the first level of primary schools. The theoretical part describes the specifics of small-class schools, their advantages and disadvantages, the organization of teaching, and student evaluation. The research part consists of qualitative research. It is based on observations and subsequent interviews with teachers who teach in mixed-age classes. We focus on their per-sonalities, on how they feel in the role of a teacher in a mixed-age class, their opinion on the-se classes, the advantages and disadvantages of mixed classes, as well as on the description of the implementation of teaching, teaching methods and preparations for teaching mathema-tics, etc. For work here will be specific conclusions and recommendations for practice.
