The Impact of the financial crises on the banking sector in the eurozone

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the effects of the financial crisis on the Eurozone banking sector. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the impacts of the crisis on the banking sector of the Eurozone. In the first part, the bank system, the basic terms and the definition of the banking sector is introduced. The second part is devoted to the Eurozone banking system and the European system of central banks. The third part seeks for the reasons of crisis formation, as well as its effect on the development of the world economics. The fourth part is the analytical part of the thesis. It deals with the impacts of the financial crisis on the banking sector. It focuses on the changing consequences of the crisis, the anti-crisis measures and the regulation of the banking system.

Abstract:

Diplomová práca sa zaoberá dopadmi krízy na bankový sektor v Eurozóne. Cieľom diplomovej práce je analýza dopadov finančnej krízy na bankový sektor v Eurozóne. V prvej kapitole diplomovej práce sa budeme venovať bankovej sústave ako celku a základným pojmom a definícii bankového sektora. Druhá kapitola je venovaná bankovému systému v Eurozóne a Európskemu systému centrálnych bánk. Tretia kapitola sa zaoberá príčinou vzniku krízy a jej vplyv na vývoj svetovej ekonomiky. Štvrtá kapitola predstavuje analytickú časť diplomovej práce. Zaoberá sa dopadmi finančnej krízy na bankový sektor. Zameriava sa na zmeny dôsledku krízy, na protikrízové opatrenia a na reguláciu bankového systému.
