Increasing the number of users of the local taxi service mobile application

Abstract:

Mobilní aplikace se v posledních letech staly nedílnou součástí veřejné a sdílené dopravy. Digitalizace služeb patří mezi nejmodernější přístupy dnešní doby a neustále nabírá na popularitě. Využívání mobilních aplikací přináší mnoho výhod a jsou budoucností v segmentu služeb. Cílem práce je příprava doporučení pro zvýšení povědomí o mobilní aplikaci taxislužby Daros Taxi s.r.o. a zvýšení počtu aktivních uživatelů této aplikace. Nejprve budou provedeny řízené rozhovory se stálými aktivními zákazníky, které budou vycházet ze struktury Value Proposition Canvas. Na základě jejich výsledků bude realizováno dotazníkové šetření na výzkumném souboru všech registrovaných uživatelů mobilní aplikace, které zjistí spokojenost zákazníků s dílčími aspekty aplikace. Získaná data budou zpracována a kategorizováma nejprve pomocí popisné statistiky a poté pomocí regresní analýzy. Výsledky povedou k návrhům pro vylepšení a optimalizaci aplikace a implementaci nových prvků s cílem zvýšit počet aktivních uživatelů využívajících aplikaci. Implementovaná doporučení budou též využita jako základní prvek obsahu komunikační kampaně. Na základě reklamní kampaně, která bude komunikovat hlavní přínosy využívání aplikace, by se měl zvýšit počet zaregistrovaných uživatelů, dále by se měl zvýšit počet skutečně aktivních uživatelů aplikace, což by mělo vést ke zvýšení obratu společnosti vedoucí z užívání aplikace.

Abstract:

Mobile apps have become an integral part of public and shared transport in recent years. The digitisation of services is one of the most modern approaches of our time and is constantly is gaining in popularity. The use of mobile apps brings many benefits and is the future of the service segment. The aim of this thesis is to develop recommendations to increase awareness of the mobile application of Daros Taxi s.r.o. and increase the number of active users of this application. First, guided interviews will be conducted with regular active customers, based on the structure of the Value Proposition Canvas. Based on their results, a questionnaire survey will be conducted on the research sample of all registered users of the mobile application to determine customer satisfaction with sub-aspects of the application. The collected data will be processed and categorized first using descriptive statistics and then using regression analysis. The results will lead to suggestions for improving and optimizing the app and implementing new features in order to increase the number of active users using the application. The implemented recommendations will also be used as a basic element of the content of the communication campaign. At An advertising campaign communicating the main benefits of using the app should increase the number of registered users, as well as the number of of actual active users of the app, which should lead to an increase in the company's turnover resulting from the use of the app.
