Acute Pancreatitis from the Perspective of a Paramedic

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je na téma Akutní pankreatitida pohledem zdravotnického záchranáře. Práce se skládá z teoretické a praktické části. Teoretická část se zabývá anatomií a fyziologií slinivky břišní neboli pankreatu, patofyziologií a patofyziologickými mechanismy, které stojí za vývojem akutní pankreatitidy, diagnostikou akutní pankreatitidy a ošetřovatelskými postupy zdravotnického záchranáře v PNP. Obsahem praktické části této bakalářské práce jsou čtyři kazuistiky, tematicky zaměřené na pacienta s akutní pankreatitidou. Dvě kazuistiky popisují výjezd zdravotnické záchranné služby a práce v přednemocniční péči a dvě popisují postup zdravotnického záchranáře na urgentním přijmu. Důraz je kladen na popis postupu a sestavení klíčových doporučení pro praxi zdravotnického záchranáře při ošetření pacienta s akutní pankreatitidou v přednemocniční neodkladné péči a urgentním příjmu. Hlavním cílem pro tuto bakalářskou práci je přiblížit a rozšířit znalosti o problematice akutní pankreatitidy v přednemocniční péči a na urgentním příjmu zdravotnickým záchranářům.

Abstract:

The theme of bachelor thesis is Acute Pancreatitis from Paramedic's Perspective. Theses consists of theoretical part and practical part. Theoretical part deals with anatomy and physiology of pancreas, pathophysiology and pathophysiological mechanisms, that are behind development of acute pancreatitis, diagnostics of acute pancreatitis and paramedic nursing procedure in pre-hospital emergency care. Content of practical part of this bachelor thesis are four case studies, tematically focused on patient with acute pancreatitis. Two case studies describe ambulance departure and work in pre-hospital emergency care and two describe paramedic's procedure in hospital's emergency department. The emphasis is on description of procedure and drawing up key recommendations for paramedic's practice in case of patient with acute pancreatitis in pre-hospital emergency care and in hospital's emergency department. The main aim of this thesis is to describe and expand knowledge to paramedics about the issues of acute pancreatitis in pre-hospital emergency care and in hospital's emergency depatrment.
