Analysis of the requirements for the implementation of ECM software in the Czech Television

Abstract:

Práce mapuje současnou situaci správy fotografií v České televizi (ČT). Ze strany ČT bude v nejbližší době poptáván ECM systém, který by měl usnadnit práci s fotografiemi napříč odděleními. Cílem této práce bude získání podkladů pro úspěšné zavedení takového systému. První část práce popisuje současnou situaci. Další modeluje procesy, které v ČT probíhají a analyzuje je. Pomocí řízených rozhovorů s pracovníky ČT získává potřebné informace pro definování požadovaných funkcionalit systému. Třetí část shrnuje požadavky na systém a definuje jeho základní funkcionality. Výstupem by mělo být získání dostatečného množství informací pro dodavatelskou firmu, která by měla navrhnout softwarové řešení, nebo předvést již hotový software s návrhem customizací. Hlavní přínos práce tedy spočívá ve shrnutí a analýze požadavků napříč odděleními ČT, což by mělo vést k zavedení komplexního řešení a uspokojení požadavků zaměstnanců tímto systémem.

Abstract:

The thesis surveys the current situation of the photograph administration in the Czech Television (ČT). In the short term is the ČT going to enquire ECM system, which is supposed to ease working with the photos across the departments. The aim of the thesis is getting the documents for successful launching of such a system. The first part of the thesis describes the current situation. The next shapes the processes, which are in progress in the ČT and analyses them. By the means of dialogues with the employees of the ČT are obtained information needed for definition of required functionality of the system. The third part summarizes the requirements for the system and defines its core functionalities. The output should be obtaining enough information for the provider company, which would either suggest the software solution, or come up with ready-made software with the suggestions of customisations. The main contribution of the thesis is based on the summarization and analysis of the requirements across the departments in the ČT, which should lead to implementation of a complex solution and meeting the requirements set by the employees by this system.
