Insights into Czech Imaginative Fairy Tales of 1990's

Abstract:

Primárním cílem disertační práce je blíže představit českou imaginativní pohádkovou tvorbu 90. let 20. století. Pozornost věnujeme původní imaginativní pohádkové tvorbě z 90. let minulého století i dříve vzniklým imaginativním pohádkám, s nimiž proskribovaní autoři 70. a 80. let oficiálně vstupují na český knižní trh až po listopadu 1989. Vybraná imaginativní pohádková tvorba 90. let 20. století je v disertační práci analyzována zejména z hlediska vztahu k pohádce lidové. Specifikovat vztah imaginativní autorské pohádky a pohádky lidové se snažíme na základě prozkoumání motivů, které se v autorských pohádkách imaginativního typu často opakují. Pozornost věnujeme také postavám, vypravěči a adresátovi. Všímáme si i vazeb imaginativní autorské pohádky 90. let 20. století k předchůdcům imaginativní autorské pohádky, k tvorbě H. Ch. Andersena a Oscara Wilda. K analýze imaginativních pohádek se snažíme přistupovat komplexně a neopomíjíme další literární tvorbu jednotlivých autorů. Disertační práce vychází z klasifikace pohádky Jaroslava Tomana ve studii Česká autorská pohádka devadesátých let 20. století (2003) a tuto klasifikaci posuzuje. Prostřednictvím analýzy vybraných pohádkových děl poukazuje také na problémy související s vymezením žánru pohádky.

Abstract:

The primary aim of this dissertation is an introduction to one type of Czech author’s fairy tale of 1990's. The thesis describes original imaginative fairy-tale books created in the last decade of the 20th century and also older imaginative fairy tales issued in our country after 1989 for the first time. Imaginative fairy tales are analyzed according to their relation to folk fairy tales. Frequent basic motives in imaginative fairy tales, characters, the narrator and the recipient are researched in the analytical part. The study takes into account relations between imaginative fairy tales and fairy tales written by Oscar Wilde or H. Ch. Andersen. Other literary works by individual authors and other book issues of analyzed works are regarded. The thesis stems from the tale classification by Jaroslav Toman in his study Česká autorská pohádka devadesátých let 20. století (2003) and reviews this classification. The thesis also refers to problems concerning the definition of the fairy-tale genre.
