Contents of group sessions in antidrug community

Abstract:

Cílem mé bakalářské práce bylo zjistit, která témata (problémy) jsou pro klienty komunity zaměřené na léčbu toxikomanů během léčebného pobytu nejožehavější. Mým podcílem je roztřízení témat z hlediska fáze, pohlaví, věku a popsat, jak daná téma zpracovává skupina. Jelikož mám deskriptivní práci, tak jsem nechtěla mít žádný předpoklad. Jako metodu jsem si zvolila kvalitativní pozorovací metodu, a to formou otevřeného zúčastněného pozorování (začlenění se do skupiny), protože mi přišla jako nejvhodnější pro tuto mou práci. Výsledky mojí práce jsem zpracovala formou kódování a zanesla výsledky do přehledných tabulek, které můžete nalézt v přílohách mé bakalářské práce. Předpokládaný počet respondentů jsem měla 25-30 osob, a to obou pohlaví (spíše mladšího věku 18-35 let). U respondentů jsem očekávala různé závislosti především pak na drogách, a to jak lehkých, tak i tvrdých, ale třeba také závislost na hracích automatech. Z předpokládaného počtu 25-30 respondentů jsem nakonec měla možnost pracovat s 20 klienty TK Fides. Předpoklad jsem měla podložen literaturou od K. Nešpora Návykové chování a závislost (2007). Teoretická část mé práce se věnuje definici pojmu terapeutická komunita, kde popisuji obecné principy a obsahy fungování terapeutických komunit. Stručně popisuji historii a vývoj terapeutických komunit pro léčbu závislých jak ve světě, tak i v České republice. Věnuji se také přímo terapeutické komunitě Fides a specifikuji pojem droga a alkohol. Do praktické části jsem zanesla základní demografická data každého z mých respondentů, což jsem také pro jednodušší orientaci zanesla do tabulky. Dále představuji osobní poznatky z realizovaného výzkumu (trvajícího 4x po pěti dnech) zaměřeného na zjištění, která témata nejčastěji otevírají klienti komunity zaměřené na léčbu toxikomanů během léčebného pobytu v Terapeutické komunitě Fides.

Abstract:

The text of the abstract. The goal of my bachelor thesis was to find out what topics (problems) are the most delicate for the clients of therapeutic community focused on the treatment of drug addicts during their medical stay. My secondary goal is to divide the topics according to stage, gender, age and to describe how the given topics are being processed by the group. Since my work is descriptive, I did not want to have any assumption. As a method, I opted for a qualitative observation, that was through the form of my open participatory observation (integration into the group), because I considered it as the most appropriate for my work. I wrote up the results of my work by coding and I organized them in the well-arranged table that can be found in the attachments of my bachelor thesis. The estimated number of respondents was 25-30, of both sexes (rather younger age of 18-35). I expected that the respondents will present different kinds of addictions, especially on drugs, both soft and hard, but also an addiction on slot machines. At the end I had the opportunity to work with 20 clients of TK Fides out of the estimated 25-30 respondents. The assumption was based on the literature of K. Nešpor Návykové chování a závislost (2007). The theoretical part of my thesis is dedicated to the definition of the term therapeutic community, where I describe the general principles and resumes of the functioning of the therapeutic communities. I briefly describe the history and the development of therapeutic communities for the treatment of addicts both worldwide and in the Czech Republic. I am also directly referring to the therapeutic community for drug addicts and I specify the term drugs and alcohol. In the practical part, I entered the basic demographic data of each of my respondents, which I added to the table for easier orientation. In addition, I am presenting personal findings from research (which lasted 4 x times five days) aimed at identifying which topics are the most commonly opened up by community clients focused on the treatment of drug addicts during their therapeutic stay in the Therapeutic Community of Fides.
