Influence of forest food supply on game distribution and damage

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je zjistit vliv poškození zvěří na zalesněných sazenicích vzhledem k úživnosti daného stanoviště, na kterém se nachází. První část práce je zaměřená na obecné zhodnocení působení zvěře na lesní prostředí a množství způsobených škod. Ve druhé části jsou uvedeny výsledky, které byly zjišťovány v terénu na několika vybraných stanovištích a následně byly zhodnoceny dle dané úživnosti. V poslední části práce jsou uvedeny návrhy opatření, aby se tyto škody povedlo minimalizovat nebo jim úplně předejít.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to determine the effect of wildlife damage on forested seedlings in relation to the productivity of the habitat in which they are located. The first part of the thesis is focused on the general assessment of the effect of game on the forest environment and the amount of damage caused. The second part presents the results, which were collected in the field on several selected habitats and then evaluated according to the given fertility. In the last part of the paper, suggestions are given for measures to minimize or completely prevent this damage.
