Enrollment of children into the first years of basic education - pre - math activities

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce popisuje zápis do prvního ročníku základního vzdělávání, konkrétně požadavky kladené na děti s ohledem na matematiku a předmatematické činnosti. Cílem mé práce je zjistit, do jaké míry se objevují předmatematické činnosti u zápisu do prvního ročníku, srovnat požadavky a úkoly kladené na děti během zápisu. Teoretická část seznamuje s pojmy jako předškolní věk, školní připravenost, školní zralost. Další část popisuje charakteristiku předmatematických představ a jejich rozčlenění do skupin (porovnání, přiřazování, třídění a uspořádání). Třetí kapitola se věnuje zápisu dětí do prvních ročníků základní školy. Kapitola vymezuje požadavky u zápisu s ohledem na matematiku, přípravu dětí k zápisu v mateřské škole a rodině a průběh celého zápisu. Praktická část bakalářské práce srovnává požadavky na znalosti dítěte nutné pro vstup do základního vzdělávání v různých základních školách. Obsah a rozsah ověřovaných znalostí jsou v práci porovnány prostřednictvím dotazníků pro pedagogy prvních ročníků a prostřednictvím získaných informací od rodičů předškolních dětí. Následně jsou údaje vyhodnoceny a porovnány.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis describes the enrolment in the first grade of primary education, specifically the requirements for the children with regard to the mathematics and pre-mathematic activities. The aim of my work is to recognise, what extent they appear the pre-mathematics activities for enrolment in the first year grade, compare the requirements and the tasks asked of the children during the enrollment. The theoretical part introduces concepts such as preschool age, school readiness. The next section describes the characteristics pre-mathematic ideas and their separation into groups (comparing, matching, sorting and arrangement). The third chapter is devoted to enrollment in the first year of primary school. This chapter defines the requirements for enrollment in respect of mathematics, preparing children for enrollment in kindergarten and the family and the progress of the whole enrollment. The practical part compares the knowledge requirements necessary for the child's access to primary education in various elementary schools. The content and scope of verified knowledges are in thesis compared through questionnaires for teachers of first grade and through the information obtained from parents of preschool children. Subsequently, the data are evaluated and compared.
