Harmonizing social roles among teachers at primary schools

Abstract:

Magisterská diplomová práce se zabývá slaďováním sociálních rolí u učitelů základních škol. Cílem práce je zjistit, jaké vlastní sociální role učitelé identifikují a jak je zvládají skloubit v souvislosti se zaměstnáním. Cíl práce byl naplněn pomocí výzkumného šetření, které bylo uskutečněno formou kvalitativního výzkumu, a v rámci kterého se uskutečnilo deset polostrukturovaných hloubkových rozhovorů s vybranými respondentkami, jejichž analýza vedla k získání relevantních výsledků. Výsledky odpovídají na hlavní výzkumnou otázku, která je formulována takto: Jak učitelé slaďují své sociální role?

Abstract:

The Master's thesis explores the balancing of social roles among elementary school teachers. The aim of the study is to identify the social roles that teachers recognize themselves and how they manage to integrate these roles in relation to their employment. This goal was achieved through a research survey conducted as qualitative research, within which ten semi-structured in-depth interviews with selected respondents were carried out. The analysis of these interviews led to the obtaining of relevant results. The outcomes address the main research question formulated as follows: How do teachers balance their social roles?
