Process of suburbanization in the hinterland of Liberec

Abstract:

Diplomová práce na téma ?Suburbanizační procesy v zázemí města Liberce? je zaměřena na suburbanizaci a to, zejména rezidenční suburbanizaci, v obcích za administrativními hranicemi města. V klíčových kapitolách se práce věnuje zejména vývoji města a suburbánních lokalit, jejich intenzitou a hodnocením od roku 1997. V práci jsou vymezené charakteristické oblasti, kde probíhá proces suburbanizace na základě analýzy z hlediska bytové výstavby, migrace z jádrového města a dojížďky za prací do jádrového města. Tyto oblasti jsou dále blíže popsány a doplněny tabulkami. Opomenuty nejsou ani výchozí přírodní, sociální a historické souvislosti, na jejichž základech se suburbanizace na Liberecku projevuje. Zároveň jsou v práci uvedené příčiny a důsledky suburbanizace z několika hledisek a územně plánovací problematika.

Abstract:

The thesis ?Process of suburbanization in the hinterland of Liberec? is focused on the suburbanization, especially residental suburbanization, in the municipalities behind the administrative borders of the city. The key chapters are focused on the development of the city and on the suburban locations, their intensity and valuation since 1997. In this study the delimited characteristic areas, where the definition of process of sububanization based on the analysis in terms of housing, migration from the city center to its hinterland and commuting for a work to the city center is described. These areas are depicted in the detail and supplemented by the tables. In the thesis are not omitted the default natural, social and historical context, under which the suburbanization in Liberec is manifested. At the same time the thesis presents the causes and the consequences of suburbanization process from several points of view and it presents planning issues.
