Choice new addictions at pupils 14-18 years

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou novodobých nelátkových závislostí a jejich výskytem u mládeže ve věku 14 ? 18 let. V teoretické části práce jsou charakterizovány jednotlivé vybrané novodobé nelátkové závislosti: závislost na hraní her, závislost na internetu, workoholismus, oniomanie, nomofobie, dysmorfofobie. Uváděna jsou i vybraná kritéria pro diagnostiku jednotlivých novodobých nelátkových závislostí. Cílem praktické části práce bylo zmapovat výskyt, frekvenci a subjektivní hodnocení důležitosti činností a aktivit, které mohou vést ke vzniku novodobých nelátkových závislostí. Dále bylo cílem porovnat získané údaje mezi chlapci a dívkami. Výzkumné šetření bylo prováděno na vzorku 111 dívek a 86 chlapců ve věku 14 ? 15 let pomocí vytvořeného dotazníku. Výsledky ukazují, že respondenti věnují značné množství času zejména kybernetickým aktivitám. Největší důležitost přikládají péči o vlastní tělo. Na základě získaných výsledků lze formulovat závěr, že sledovaní adolescenti jsou ohroženi vznikem a rozvojem novodobých nelátkových závislostí

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with problems of new addictions and their appearance among the teenagers. In the theoretical part the separate selected new addiction are described: gambling addiction, internet addiction, workoholism, oniomania, nomophobia, dysmorphophobia. There are introduced also the selected conditions for diagnostic of the separate new addictions. The aim of the practical part of the thesis was to chart the appearance, frequence and the subjective evaluation of the importance of the actions and activities which can lead to the beginning of new addictions. The comparison of data acquired among the boys and girls was another aim. The research was made on the sample of 111 girls and 86 boys ages 14-15 years through the created questionnaire. The results demonstrate that the respondents dedicate the considerable amount of time mainly to the cybernetic activities. They give the greatest relevance to the care of their own bodies. On the basis of the acquired results the conclusion can be formed ? the observed adolescents are threatened by the beginning and expansion of new addictions.
