Fernando Sor and basic of modern technique guitar play

Abstract:

Ve své bakalářské diplomové práci s názvem Fernando Sor a základy moderní techniky kytarové hry se zabývám osobností významného španělského kytaristy a skladatele 1. poloviny 19. století Fernanda Sora (1778–1839) a jeho vlivem na techniku kytarové hry. Fernando Sor byl všestranným skladatelem a virtuózním kytaristou. Z jeho hudebního díla mají v současné době největší význam kytarové skladby, z nichž především etudy podstatným způsobem ovlivnily vývoj techniky kytarové hry až do dnešní doby. Fernando Sor prožil svůj tvůrčí život v období rozkvětu kytarové hry. Toto období souvisí se vznikem tehdy nové moderní kytary se šesti jednoduchými strunami v ladění E– A–d–g–h–e1 a s nahrazením dřívějších tabulatur (do nichž se do té doby zapisovaly skladby pro strunné nástroje) notovým zápisem. Fernando Sor byl jedním z kytaristů té doby (společně s Maurem Giulianim, Dionisiem Aguadem, Ferdinandem Carullim, Mateem Carcassim a dalšími), kteří formovali názory na techniku kytarové hry a svými skladbami vytvořili základy dnešní kytarové literatury.

Abstract:

In my bachelors work entitled Fernando Sor and basic of modern technique guitar play. I am dealing with the character of significant Spanish guitarist and compositor of the first half of the nineteenth century Fernando Sor (1778–1839) and his influence on the guitar technique. Fernando Sor was a universal compositor and virtuoso guitarist. Of his musical production, it’s his guitar compositions to have the most significant impact in the present. Above all it’s his etudes that have influenced in significant way the evolution of the guitar pay until the presence. Fernando Sor has lived his creative live in the epoch of the guitar boom. This epoch is interrelated with the rise of the modern guitar with six single cords tuned E–A–d–g–h–e1 and with the substitution of former tablatures (those were used to write compositions for cord instruments until than) by the score. Fernando Sor was one of the guitarist of the epoch (together with Mauro Giuliani, Dionisio Aguado, Ferdinando Carulli, Mateo Carcassi and other), which have formed the opinions on the technique of the guitar play and which have set up the fundaments of the today’s guitar literature throughout their compositions.
