The relationship between poetry and music in the Romanticism

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on the Romantic period. In the theoretical part, the development of literature and music is presented, whereby some composers of this epoch are named. In the practical part, the musical development of the Romantic period is illustrated by means of concrete works. These works are analysed in the same way as their literary models and then compared with each other. On the basis of these comparisons, the relationship between literary works and music in the Romantic period is shown.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na epochu romantismu. V teoretické části je nastíněn vývoj literatura a hudby a jsou zde zmíněni jednotliví reprezentativní skladatelé. V praktické části je znázorněn hudební vývoj této epochy na základě konkrétních hudebních děl. Tato díla jsou analyzována stejně jako jejich literární předlohy a poté jsou navzájem srovnávána. Na základě těchto srovnání je ukázán vztah mezi literárním dílem a hudbou v období romantismu.
