Abstract:

V teoretické části této bakalářské práce je definována a podrobně zmapována oblast event managementu a jsou zde prezentovány jeho singulární oblasti. Dále tyto jednotlivé oblasti, ze kterých se event management skládá, jsou přesně determinovány a je také přesně vymezen jejich účel. Praktická část se zabývá prezentací přípravy a realizace reálného eventového projektu. Jedná se o konferenci pravidelně organizovanou hotelem. Údaje a závěry vychází z faktických informací pořadatelů tohoto pravidelného eventu. Každá plánovaná událost – event s sebou přináší nutnost organizace řady interních procesů na úrovni pořadatele. Ty musí být maximálně efektivní, aby byla zajištěna bezproblémová realizace celého projektu. Dále musí být zajištěna ziskovost a v neposlední řadě i spokojenost účastníků, pořadatelů, případně dalších participujících subjektů. Také proto se práce zabývá organizací akce z pohledu organizátora. Na tomto příkladu je prakticky demonstrováno využití ekonomických nástrojů výše popsaných v teoretické části a je zřejmý jejich přínos pro pořadatele i účastníky akce. Práce je zaměřena na tuto problematiku z důvodu rapidního růstu tohoto segmentu služeb. Výsledkem je přehledné shrnutí pravidel, jakými by se v optimálním případě měl event management řídit.

Abstract:

The theoretical part of this thesis focuses on the definition, detailed description and segmentation of the market environment in event management in the hospitality business. Thesis focuses on singular areas from which event management it is composed. These areas are precisely specified and their purpose is also clearly defined. The practical part of thesis focuses on the presentation of preparation for actual implementation of real event project. Author is concretely presenting conference regularly organized by hotel. The data and conclusions are outcome of factual information of organizations of this event. Each scheduled event entails the need for organizing plenty of internal processes for event organizer. These processes have to be most effective and efficient to ensure flawless execution of whole project. Furthermore profitability must be ensured along with satisfaction of participants, organizers and other parties which are participating on the project. The main objective of the thesis is to focus on organizing hotel event from the perspective of the organizer of the event. In the practical part is demonstrated usage of economical instruments described in theoretical part and recognition of their contribution for event organizers and participants of conferences. The main emphasis of this research is on this issue because of the rapid growth of this segment of hospitality services. Outcome is a comprehensive set of rules which optimally should be used by event managers.
