Abstract:

Abstrakt Tématem diplomové práce je Aplikace externího auditu v moderním řízení podniku. Teoretická část vychází z odborné literatury a odborných článků vztahujících se k tomuto tématu. Je zde podrobně popsán vývoj auditu v zahraničí a v České republice. Praktická část se zaměřuje na externí audit účetní závěrky společnosti, přesněji na předaudit a zajištění řešení na základě odborné literatury. Téma externího auditu bylo vybráno především proto, že je velmi aktuální. Existuje mnoho společností, které mají povinnost auditu, nebo chtějí mít ověřenou účetní závěrku. V tomto případě jejich zájem uskutečnit externí audit ve společnosti vyplývá z požadavků společníků nebo členů vedení, kteří chtějí mít jistotu, že podnikají v souladu s platnou legislativou a účetními zásadami. Cílem práce je na základě literární rešerše provedení externího auditu, který ověřuje konkrétní aktivity vybraného podniku, včetně návrhů nápravy zjištěných nedostatků, které v budoucnu povedou k zefektivnění činnosti firmy. Základní metodou při uskutečnění předauditu byla analýza jednotlivých účetních kapitol dané společnosti. Výsledkem diplomové práce jsou doporučení autorky pro zpřesnění a lepší přehlednost vedení účetnictví a zaúčtování jednotlivých položek, aby byly splněny požadavky auditora.

Abstract:

Abstract This thesis is focused on application of external audit in modern management. The theoretical part is based on literature and articles related closely to this topic. There is described in detail the development of audit abroad and in the Czech Republic. The practical part is focused on external audit of the financial statements, specifically on the pre-audit and creating solutions based on literature. The external audit topic was chosen primarily because it is very up to date. There are many companies that have the duty to undergo audit, or have their financial statements audited. In that case, their interest to undergo an external audit in the company results from the demands of shareholders or members of management who want to be sure that they operate in accordance with legislation and principles of accounting. The goal of this thesis is to apply an external audit that verifies the specific activity of the chosen company based on a literature review, including improvement proposals which will lead to more efficient company. The basic method when making a pre-audit was to analyze the various accounting topics of the company. The result of this thesis are author's recommendations for better and more accurate bookkeeping and accounting of individual items to meet the requirements of the auditor.
