Pivot to Asia: Impact on the Shape of the U.S.-Japan Alliance

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je analýza růstu Číny a americko-japonských vztahů. Zdali dochází ke konceptu Balance of threat or power. Dále se věnuji zkoumání amerických aliancí a vztahů, dopodrobna se zabývám zahraniční politikou Bílého domu v době, kdy byla u moci administrativa Baracka Obamy, která přinesla nové směrování zahraniční politiky, a to jak penězi, vojskem a celkovou angažovaností. V práci se také zabývám vlivem Pivotu na stabilitu a bezpečnost v Evropě.

Abstract:

The aim of this work is the analysis of China's growth and American-Japanese relations, specifically whether the concept of the Balance of Threat or Power is occurring. Furthermore, I delve into the examination of American alliances and relationships, with a detailed focus on the foreign policy of the White House during the time when the administration of Barack Obama was in power. This period brought about a new direction in foreign policy, involving finances, military forces, and overall engagement. The work also examines the impact of the Pivot on stability and security in Europe.
