Pedagogical diagnostics in kindergarten

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na problematiku pedagogické diagnostiky v prostředí mateřské školy. V teoretické části jsou popsány základní pojmy spojené s pedagogickou diagnostikou včetně jejich typů, možných chyb a charakteristických rysů. Dále se teoretická část zaměřuje na diagnostickou činnost, jeji fáze, nástroje a metody, včetně významu pedagogického portfolia. Poslední kapitola teoretické části je věnována obsahu pedagogické diagnostiky, zahrnující roviny a oblasti vývoje dítěte. Hlavním cílem empirické části je prozkoumat diagnostickou činnost učitelek ve vybraných mateřských školách na území Frýdecko-Místecka. Dílčím cílem práce je zjištění frekvence provádění pedagogické diagnostiky, analýza preferovaných diagnostických metod, zaměření na konkrétní oblasti vývoje dítěte, zhodnocení existence a obsahu diagnostických portfolií dětí a prozkoumání spolupráce mezi mateřskou školou a rodiči v oblasti pedagogické diagnostiky. Jedním z hlavních přínosů mé bakalářské práce pro mě osobně je získání uceleného přehledu o pedagogické diagnostice. Tato práce si klade za cíl nejenom poskytnou ucelený pohled na problematiku pedagogické diagnostiky v mateřské škole, ale také přispět k lepšímu porozumění jejího významu, zdůraznit její důležitost a poskytnout praktické informace pro pedagogy pracující s dětmi v předškolním věku.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on the issue of pedagogical diagnostics in the context of kindergarten. The theoretical part describes the basic concepts related to pedagogical diagnostics, including their types, possible errors, and characteristic features. Furthermore, the theoretical section focuses on diagnostic activities, their phases, tools, and methods, including the significance of pedagogical portfolios. The final chapter of the theoretical part is dedicated to the content of pedagogical diagnostics, encompassing the dimensions and areas of child development. The main objective of the empirical part is to explore the diagnostic activities of teachers in selected kindergartens in the Frýdek-Místek region. The partial aim of the thesis is to determine the frequency of pedagogical diagnostics, analyze preferred diagnostic methods, focus on specific areas of child development, evaluate the existence and content of children's diagnostic portfolios, and examine the cooperation between the kindergarten and parents in the field of pedagogical diagnostics. One of the main contributions of my bachelor thesis to me personally is gaining a comprehensive overview of pedagogical diagnostics. The bachelor thesis aims not only to provide a comprehensive view of the issue of pedagogical diagnostics in kindergarten but also to contribute to a better understanding of its significance, emphasize its importance, and provide practical information for educators working with preschool children.
